WVU Morris L. Hayhurst LaunchLab

The WVU LaunchLab and MakerLab are applied innovation centers for all WVU students. We work with your creative ideas to make them a reality. From ideation through commercialization, the LaunchLab team helps students find the resources they need.

About

The WVU LaunchLab Network consists of an ideation lab, prototyping lab, mobile maker lab and video/recording lab.  The LaunchLab and MakerLab team includes professional staff and students with expertise in business advising and coaching, engineering, design, media and marketing, computer science, graphics, videography and more! We work with students from every academic discipline who have ideas for commercialization utilizing the Business Model Canvas. Ideas consist of engineered new products, product redesign, artwork, performance art, business storefronts, fashion brands, agricultural products and services, and much more.  We help with research, customer discovery, design, prototyping, manufacturing, marketing, pitching to investors, intellectual property search and registration, business registration and advisory committee formation.  The award winning LaunchLab network has been operating at West Virginia University since 2014.
