The Chemical Alliance Zone is a nonprofit that works to create and sustain jobs and investments in all chemistry-related sectors across WV, including assisting entrepreneurs and start-ups in all facets of their launch, growth, and commercial success.

About

The Chemical Alliance Zone (CAZ) is a non-profit economic development group that works to grow the business of chemistry across WV.  CAZ collaborates with partners to facilitate chemistry-related business opportunities, leading to new investments and jobs in traditional and green chemistry, biotechnology, advanced materials, energy, manufacturing, and more.  As part of that, CAZ supports all types of chemistry-related entrepreneurs, start-ups and small businesses through its ChemCeption incubator and ChemAssist program, helping with technology development, IP protection, partner and investor relations, pitch development, and much more. As examples, CAZ has assisted startups developing cleaner gasoline technology, small firms commercializing antiviral coatings, new companies with novel COVID testing technology, craft breweries and distilleries, and many more.
