About
TechConnect West Virginia is a statewide, nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of science, technology, entrepreneurship and innovation. Our mission is to diversify the state’s economy through technology-based economic development, creating jobs and attracting investment. Our vision is to be a catalyst driving innovation, cultivating entrepreneurship and creating greater prosperity across the state.
With broad representation from private industry, the public sector and higher education, TCWV serves as a convener and facilitator to enhance awareness and encourage collaboration to strengthen the state’s innovation ecosystem. Through its network of member organizations, institutions and companies, TCWV works to build R&D and commercialization capacity, a more robust entrepreneurial culture, access to capital, and policies that incentivize innovation-based startup firms.
