About

The WV Hive is the entrepreneurial program of the New River Gorge Regional Development Authority. The WV Hive’s mission is to help aspiring and existing business owners launch and grow successful businesses in West Virginia. The Hive provides on-on-one business advising, access to makerspace, technical assistance, and a wide network of resources to entrepreneurs and small business owners. The Hive is the administrator of Country Roads Angel Network (www.wvcran.com), a network of accredited investors developed to provide early-state capital to West Virginia startups. The Hive is based in Beckley, the Hive serves 13 counties – Fayette, Greenbrier, Logan, McDowell, Mercer, Mingo, Monroe, Nicholas, Pocahontas, Raleigh, Summers, Webster, and Wyoming County.
