Blue Ridge Community and Technical College has established the SpringTech Innovation Lab as a small business incubator at the College’s Morgan County Campus. SpringTech is now home to six small businesses with very diverse operations and markets.

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College has established the SpringTech Innovation Lab as a small business incubator at the College’s Morgan County Campus. SpringTech is now home to six small businesses with very diverse operations and markets, from a skin care products company to a high tech government contractor to a modeling company. Each tenant, approved by a local steering committee, receives a two year lease and pays no rent for the first two years. In total, approximately twenty people are currently employed at the facility. Each company is required to do two annual seminars for the community on a subject related to their business. Support is received from the Small Business Development Center for many business support activities.
