The Upshur County Development Authority (UCDA) is the lead economic development organization for Upshur County, West Virginia including the City of Buckhannon.  UCDA promotes, develops and advances the business prosperity and economic welfare in the county.  The UCDA, county and city work hand in hand to promote community and economic development.  Activities include helping new and existing businesses in such areas as capital financing, employee recruitment & training, site and building locations, infrastructure access and community information.
