The Preston County Economic Development Authority provides new and existing business support and connects businesses, municipalities and residents to resources to promote and develop the Preston County’s economy.

About

The Preston County Economic Development Authority\’s (PCEDA) primary goal is to have a thriving economy in Preston County. To help achieve this goal, we provide assistance, services and information to our new and existing businesses, municipalities and citizens.  In addition, through strategic alliances, we provide access to valuable local, regional and state resources to all types of businesses. For new businesses, we can provide assistance with forming a business, business plans, site locations, funding and possible tax credits.  We assist our existing businesses with workforce training and development, access to capital, relocation and expansion, tax credits and infrastructure. The PCEDA offers site location services to businesses looking for expansion or relocation assistance.  We have both commercial and industrial properties available in various locations throughout the county.  We own property in an industrial park, in communities, downtown, and adjacent to the interstate.  These properties are available for lease or purchase. We work with both businesses and the community on infrastructure and grant writing.  We have successfully written grants in excess of $10 million and we have administered more than $350 million in grants and loans for water, sewer, roads, natural gas, brownfields, site development and broadband.  We continue to provide information to businesses and the community on various training, programs and grants through our website and social media outlets.
