West Virginia University is pleased to announce the return of the Evolving Energy Conference, September 20th- 21st in Morgantown, West Virginia. Last year, the Evolving Energy Conference brought together individuals from academics, industry, federal agencies, investor networks, and local and federal government. Conversations held during last year’s event highlighted the importance for our region to continue leading the energy transition. Our communities, our industry, and our innovators are the backbone for future national energy resilience and security. This year, we are excited to carry the momentum forward and discuss pressing trends across the energy sector.

Evolving Energy 2023 will include panel discussions on workforce needs, electrification, energy storage, community engagement for the energy transition, and new alternative energy sources. In addition, we will have our annual pitch competition, which last year awarded $25,000 in prizes to four distinguished teams.
