Woodlands Community Lenders is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) specializing in residential and small business lending, in addition to providing advising services and technical assistance to new and existing small businesses.

About

Woodlands Community Lenders is an affiliate of Woodlands Development Group, a nonprofit focused on housing development, neighborhood improvement, downtown redevelopment, and community planning. Woodlands Community Lenders (WCL), a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), was created to meet the needs of higher-risk residential and commercial borrowers who may struggle to find financing through traditional lending. In addition to offering small business lending, WCL also provides very hands-on advising services to both new and existing business, and technical assistance funding when need is demonstrated and available resources permit.
