About

Woodlands Development Group (WDG) is a non-profit based in Elkins, WV.  WDG’s current work falls into 3 community development goals: 1) Housing Development and Neighborhood Improvement, 2) Downtown Redevelopment, and 3) Community Facilities Development and Community Planning. While WDG focuses on it’s 3-county service area of Barbour, Randolph and Tucker counties when building housing or doing commercial building acquisition and redevelopment, they do provide consulting services for redevelopment, using tax credits, and other special areas of interest outside of their traditional footprint, subject to limitations.
