The Greenbrier Valley Economic Development Corporation (GVEDC) initiates and supports the development of new jobs, industry and investment in the counties of Greenbrier, Monroe and Pocahontas.

As the economic authority of the Greenbrier Valley, the GVEDC offers a variety of resources and connection for businesses and communities in Greenbrier, Monroe and Pocahontas County.  The Greenbrier Valley EDC offers support services for business expansion or retention, a network of opportunities for startups, and works to attract additional business and investment to the region.  The authority works with statewide, regional, and local agencies, businesses, and nonprofits on economic development issues such workforce development, infrastructure and community development.
